Car rams into pedestrians; three injured

KATTAPPANA: A car accident near the new bus stand on Friday evening left three pedestrians injured. The incident occurred around 5:50 p.m. when a car parked in front of a commercial building suddenly moved forward and rammed into pedestrians standing on the opposite side of the road.

After hitting the pedestrians, the vehicle went on to crash into a parked mini lorry and an electric pole. The injured have been identified as Rajan (60) of Anyartholu, Alice (54) of Nariyampra, and Varghese (65) of Puliyanmala.

All three were initially admitted to a private hospital near the bus stand and later shifted to another private hospital in Kattappana for further treatment.
