Hardly one month for Onam; two special services from Bengaluru with halt at Ernakulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two Onam special train services will be operated on the Bengaluru - Kochuveli route. The first train service will be from September 11 to 15, and the second from September 13 to September 3. The service will reach Banaswadi in Bengaluru. Ticket booking has started.

The special service has stops at Varkala, Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikkara, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bangarpet and Krishnarajapuram.

The first train will depart from Bengaluru at 7.25 pm on Mondays and reach Kochuveli at 1.15 pm the next day. It will depart from Kochuveli at 3.15 pm on Tuesdays and reach Bengaluru at 8.30 am the next day.

The second train will depart from Bengaluru on Wednesdays at 7.25 pm and reach Kochuveli the next day at 1.15 pm. It will depart from Kochuveli at 3.15 pm on Thursdays and reach Bengaluru the next day at 8.30 am.
