'If you give statement against me, get ready to face death'; Criminal Chenthamara's vitriolic threat at court

PALAKKAD: Palakkad Nenmara double murder case accused Chenthamara continued his vicious diatribe as he vowed not to spare anyone who destroyed her family. Chenthamara responded to the media while he was being produced in court for trial.

“I’m from the backwards caste, and I will not disown my words. Anyone who is trying to split my family will surely face the consequences. I will eradicate them for sure. There is no question about it. I will surely kill those who are eager to give statement against me” said Chenthamara.

Chenthamara brutally killed Sudhakaran (56) and his mother Lakshmi (78) of Boyan Colony, Pothundi, Nemmara, Palakkad. The reason for the murder was personal enmity. On the morning of January 27, when Sudhakaran reversed his vehicle to escape when he saw a perturbed Chenthamara in front of his house holding a knife. Before he could turn the vehicle, Chenthamara jumped in front of his neighbour and stabbed him brutally to death. Lakshmi, who was standing in front of the house, shouted in fear at what she saw. Seeing this, Chenthamara headed straight towards her and stabbed her multiple times to death.

Chenthamara conducted the twin murder while on bail in the case of murdering Sudhakaran's wife, Sajitha, in 2019.
