SIVAGIRI: The Sree Narayana month observation will begin today, the first day of the Chingam month, as per the instructions of the Sivagiri Mutt. It will begin at 6.15 am at the residences of devotees and Guru temples with the Guru Avatar Muhurta prayer. There will be special pujas, satsangs, readings of Gurudeva's works, and lectures in the evenings.
The activities are being carried out in such a way that all the Sree Narayana movements are prepared to utilise the Sree Narayana month to know Guru and Guru's darshan and to evaluate the Guru's sannyasi and grihastha disciples and those who have contributed to other areas of social renaissance.
SNDP Yogam branches, family units, Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha units, and other Gurudeva movements have been continuing the practice of observing the Sree Narayana month for years. This year's Sree Narayana Month celebration has come at a time when the vision of Gurudeva is being spread all over the world through various special programs like the Centenary of Sarvamatha Sammelanam organized in Aluva, Centenary Celebration Meeting of Conversation between Sree Narayana Guru & Gandhi. The memories of the centenary conferences organized in the Vatican, London, and Delhi are still fresh in the minds of devotees. Centenary conferences are ongoing in various parts of the world as well.
