Film-serial-mimicry artist Suresh Krishna no more; death due to cardiac arrest during sleep

RAMAPURAM: Mimicry artist and film serial star Ramapuram Vettathukunnel Suresh Krishna (53) passed away. He died after suffering a cardiac arrest during his sleep at night.

Suresh Krishna was an artist who filled the mimicry arena for three decades. He also ran his own troupe based in Kochi. He was famous for his mega shows and stage shows. Suresh Krishna's portrayal of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy had gained public attention.

Apart from Kerala, Suresh Krishna has presented many programs in other states and foreign countries. He was notable for singing and acting in parody songs. He had acted in many films, serials and television comedy programs. Suresh Krishna's role as a journalist in the Malayalam film ABCD was notable.

Wife: Deepa, Piravom Kavalum Parampil family member. Children: Devananda, a nursing student in Germany, and Devakrishna. Father: Late Balan, Mother: Omana Balan. Funeral on Monday at 2 pm at Piravom public crematorium.
