BENGALURU: Three of the five men who gang-raped and robbed a woman at Gangondanahalli in Bengaluru Rural, have been arrested. The victim is a 30-year-old woman from West Bengal.
The five barged into the woman's house on Tuesday night. The accused gang-raped the woman and robbed two mobile phones and Rs 25,000 before fleeing. The accused are residents of the same area and arrested Karthik, Glen and Suoyg in an investigation focusing on CCTV footage. The police said two of the five are absconding and a search is on to find them.
The police said the woman is out of danger. A special team has been formed under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police to investigate the case.
