"I will not treat your child": Doctor slaps patient's father, security guard who came to investigate also face the fume | VIDEO

AHMEDABAD: A female doctor physically assaulted a father who questioned her for not treating his daughter. The incident took place at Sola Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. The victim was identified as Ashik Haribhai Chavda. The incident became a hot topic after the argument between the two went viral on social media.

The doctor got angry after seeing the incident being videotaped. The footage shows the doctor waving her hand and slapping Chavda, asking him to stop recording. When the doctor angrily asks, "Put your mobile away," Chavda retorts, "Why should I put it down?" The doctor can be seen raising her voice at Chavda as the security guards try to intervene. A security guard nearby tries to step in and asks 'What’s happening?' but that only seems to further anger the doctor. The doctor turns to him and angrily yells, 'Security guard here never does anything.'

The doctor adds that she will not treat Chavda's child because Chavda was ill-mannered towards her. The video ends with Chavda asking what bad thing he did. Many people are coming forward to justify and criticise the doctor's actions at the same time. Ahmedabad Police has clarified that no complaint has been received against the doctor.
