Locking live-in partner and threatening to kill children: Yuva Morcha leader arrested for whipping woman with cable wire

KOCHI: Yuva Morcha leader arrested for whipping his partner with a cable wire. The arrested Yuva Morcha leader is Ernakulam District General Secretary Gopu Paramashivan. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by the woman at the Maradu police station. There are bruises from the beating all over her body. The divorced woman and Gopu Paramashivan had been living together for the past five years. Gopu had filed a complaint with the police the other day, stating that the woman was missing.

The woman left home after being whipped. Following Gopu Paramashivan's complaint, the police found the woman and asked her to appear at the station. The woman then went to the station and filed a complaint against the Yuva Morcha leader. The woman revealed to the police about the harassment she faced. The complaint states that Gopu did not allow her to go out and used to lock her in the house. The woman also stated that Gopu Paramashivan threatened to kill the children from her previous relationship.
