Case against teacher for beating plus two students with iron rod and log

KANNUR: A case has been registered against a teacher for brutally beating plus two students in Pazhayangadi. The Pazhayangadi police have registered a case against trainee teacher Lijo John under the non-bailable section. The incident happened on December 9. The students of Payyannur Boys School were subjected to brutal attack. On the pretext of talking to them, the teacher and his friends took the boys to a secluded place and then beat them.

The teacher had gone for excursion with his students on December 5. The boys intervened when Lijo John misbehaved with the girls. This enmity led to the attack. He beat the boys with an iron rod and log. The boys are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thrikaripur.
