The 'New India, New Kerala' conclave, organised by Kerala Kaumudi, presented a comprehensive development vision that is necessary for Kerala to move forward rapidly in development, along with the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the conclave by describing Kerala Kaumudi as the media voice of loyalty in the country. This program was organised as part of the 114th anniversary celebration of Kerala Kaumudi, which stands for justice for the neglected sections of society and works tirelessly as their mouthpiece.

The public is not ready to wait for years for development and progress as it used to in the past. In this era, people are only interested in politics that prioritise development. Understanding this, Chief Editor Deepu Ravi, who presided over the conclave, put forward the view that governments, regardless of political affiliation, should focus on development to build a new land. Supporting this idea, the Union Home Minister also pointed out that along with a developed Kerala, there should be a safe Kerala. The Union Home Minister clarified in his inaugural speech that the Central Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is continuing to take effective, corruption-free steps to ensure that the results of development are delivered equally to all sections of the people without any discrimination, while protecting the beliefs of everyone, regardless of religion or caste. 'The Central Government will stand for the development of Kerala without looking at vote bank politics. While Kerala received Rs 72,000 crore during the UPA regime from 2004 to 2014, Rs 3.23 lakh crore was provided for development from 2014 to 2025. The country needs a comprehensive and inclusive development model that includes all sectors, with the participation of every citizen. It should be free from corruption," Amit Shah pointed out in his speech.

The conclave pointed out that intensive steps are being taken under the leadership of Narendra Modi to transform India into a global power. Major development is underway in the infrastructure sector, including national highways, airports, and railways. India has also strengthened its self-sufficiency in the defence sector through Atmanirbhar Bharat. Along with the country, Kerala is also moving forward under the leadership of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Projects like Vizhinjam have gone a long way in marking Kerala on the world trade map. Despite this, India and Kerala are still facing many challenges on the path of development. What prompted Kerala Kaumudi to organise such a gathering was the idea that it is through such conclaves that ideas to understand such challenges and solve them should emerge. Kerala Kaumudi has decided to organize a series of conclaves to discuss challenges and solutions towards a developed Kerala, as part of continuing Kerala Kaumudi's meaningful contribution to the future of the country through informative debates.
