Man arrested for releasing snake inside Vande Bharat train | VIDEO

MUMBAI: A Maharashtra native released a snake inside the Vande Bharat Express train. Jagan Arjun Bhale (37), a native of Nashik, was arrested by the Central Railway RPF officials. The incident took place on December 27 in the Mumbai - Solapur Vande Bharat Express (22225).

The snake was found inside the toilet of coach C-16. The railway authorities locked the toilet to prevent it from escaping and informed the control room. The snake, which was about two and a half feet long, was caught in Solapur. The accused was arrested after a detailed investigation by the RPF. The accused released a non-venomous Indian rat snake inside the train. The police reached the accused with the help of CCTV footage. The accused was produced before the railway court in Kalyan and sent to 14-day judicial custody.
