
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Railways has arranged services for the convenience of passengers in connection with Attukal Pongala. In addition to the special service, the timings of the existing trains have also been changed. For those returning after Pongala, there will be passenger special trains from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam via Kottayam at 3.10 pm and to Ernakulam via Alappuzha at 2.40 pm.

Madurai-Punalur Express: Palliyadi and Balaramapuram, Rameswaram-Thiruvananthapuram Central Amrita Express: Chirayinkeezhu
Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Express, Mangaluru Central-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express: Pettah
The Thiruvananthapuram Central Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, which was scheduled to depart at 2:15 p.m., will depart 15 minutes late at 2:30 p.m.
The Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) – Nagercoil Passenger, originally scheduled to depart from Thiruvananthapuram North at 13:25, will now leave at 13:40 (15 minutes late). Consequently, its departure from Thiruvananthapuram Central, originally scheduled for 13:40, has been rescheduled to 14:40 (1 hour late).
The Kollam-Kanyakumari MEMU, which was scheduled to depart from Kollam at 11:35 a.m., will depart at 12:50 p.m.
The Nagercoil Kottayam Express, which was scheduled to depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 2:35 p.m., will depart at 3:20 p.m., 1 hour late.
