Mammootty cyberattacked for expressing displeasure with CPM district secretary during township visit

KALPETTA: Cyber-attacks against actor Mammootty have intensified after he expressed dissatisfaction with CPM district secretary K Rafeeq during his visit to Wayanad Township. Left-wing cyber handles stepped forward with accusations and harsh criticism. Mammootty asking CPM district secretary to stay away has been used as a weapon by the UDF. The UDF’s criticism is by highlighting Mammootty's remark about the people's township.

Mammootty expressed dissatisfaction with Rafeeq during his township visit yesterday. Meantime, reports that come in say that Mammootty wanted a private visit. Mammootty had directed that the township visit be kept private. Sources close to Mammootty say that the actor came from Chennai only to see the township and his visit was not even informed to the media. Mammootty had not asked anyone to come to the township. It is reported that Mammootty asked him to stay away after CPM leaders continuously followed him and controlled the people.


Mammootty expressed displeasure to the district secretary when he accompanied him throughout the township visit. 'Why are you always with me? People will think that I came for your sake, stay away' Mammootty had directly told him. Nodal officer Dr Arun explained the details about the township project to Mammootty. He came to visit the township while returning from the final schedule of the film 'Padayatra'.
