Rape case registered against former superintendent of MCH on complaint of woman

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have registered a rape case against former superintendent of the medical college. The medical college police have registered a case against Dr Sunil Kumar. The complaint was filed by the woman who came for treatment.

The complaint says the woman had a close relationship with the doctor since 2023. The two developed a cordial relationship when she was under his treatment. This relationship grew and he started abusing her sexually. Dr Sunil Kumar is presently the unit chief of the neurosurgery department.
