Kollam Sudhi's son, Kichu Sudhi (Rahuldas), for the first time talked about his memories of childhood and his late father. Kichu's revelation was made through his YouTube channel.

KICHU SUDHI:

“I am an introvert. I am not so good at talking with people, and I don’t even know what will happen when this video comes out. This is my life story. I was born in 2004 in Thrissur. My mother's name is Shalini. My childhood memory revolves around constant fights between my father and mother. My mother ran away with another person when I was one and a half years old. I remember my father then taking a scooter and getting ready to go somewhere.

I remember asking him to take me along, but he refused. Later, I learned that he tried to ram his scooter into a lorry in a suicide attempt. However, he escaped unhurt.

When I was three years old, my father took me to Kollam. My grandmother took care of me. I was there until the fifth grade. In the meantime, my father got married for the second time. Her name was Veena. At that time, I had no contact with my father. My father used to visit me only during evenings, and she didn’t like me.

During the vacation of the fifth grade, we were in Ernakulam. We stayed there for a while. At that time, my father was busy with shooting, and in one video call, he showed me his friend Renu. By this time, my father and Veena had divorced, and he had convinced the family to marry Renu. We moved to Kollam but lived there until another dispute forced us to relocate to Kottayam.

Freedom entered my life after we moved to Kottayam. I bought a computer at that time, and I would spend all day in my room. My father would give me food, while Rithappan (stepbrother) used to come to my room now and then. Then the lockdown came, and we got into a lot of debt.

It was my father who took care of my mother, Rithappan, my mother's sister, brother-in-law, and their two children. Then after three years, I sold the computer and bought a car. My father used to give me money sometimes, and it was the only love I received. My father and I only talked when we went to shoots. However, my mother was against me going to shoots, and so my father stopped taking me from then.

One day, after the shoot, my father called me on the phone and asked me to be at Changanassery the next morning to pick him up. Amidst sleep, I kept on looking at the phone for his call, but it didn’t come. The next thing I remember is my mother coming to my room in panic, saying that something bad had happened to my father. I called Anoopettan (show producer), and his response was “Sorry, brother, we tried but couldn’t save him”.

After my father’s death, I was showered with love and care from all quarters, but soon it too ended. Nobody even cared about me. My relatives in Kollam asked me to come there and continue my studies. I decided to go to Kollam, and suddenly my life became happier. I am now happy here, and that is my life story.
