GURUVAYUR: Vivek Kiran, the son of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, visited Guruvayur Temple with his family for darshan. He arrived at the temple with his wife on Monday evening. During the visit, a media person who recorded visuals of Vivek Kiran and his family was reportedly stopped by Devaswom officials and forced to delete the footage.

According to reports, Devaswom authorities arranged special facilities for Vivek Kiran and his family to have darshan with VIP privileges in a low-profile manner. The incident happened after the temple visit, when they were going to offer prayers at the Karyalaya Ganapathy shrine. At that time, a journalist recorded a video. It is reported that Vivek Kiran objected to the recording and tried to snatch the phone from the media person. Soon after, Devaswom officials reached the spot, took the journalist’s phone, and made him delete the video.
