Kerala to protest against CAA; Pinarayi Vijayan, Ramesh Chennithala to attend satyagraha on December 16

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act is intensifying across the nation, the Kerala government and opposition parties under Congress will join the protest by conducting a joint satyagraha on November 16. Both CM Pinarayi Vijayan and opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala will attend the Satyagraha against the CAA which will be held at Martyrs' Column in Thiruvananthapuram.

It was Minister EP Jayarajan who confirmed this through a Facebook post. He also said that several ministers and UDF leaders will attend the Satyagraha. The protest will be held demanding the withdrawal of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the preservation of constitutional values. Several prominent personalities across various fields will also make their presence felt at the protest.
