Mini tempo almost crushes down scooter; rider escapes by a whisker

THRISSUR: A scooter almost got crushed under a mini tempo van at Ollur but the scooter rider had a providential escape on Tuesday. The lucky rider is Thykkattussery native Shaji (51)

The accident happened at Ollur Company padi. The speeding mini tempo van that came from Thrissur area, rammed the scooter that was stopped behind a bus.
Due to the impact of collision, the scooter was went crashing under the bus.

Seeing the fast-approaching mini tempo van, the rider had rider jumped to the road side, thus having a narrow escape.

The scooter was completely crushed under the bus.

Shaji who had sustained minor injuries was admitted to Koorkkanchery private hospital by Ollur Acts workers.
