One more COVID-19 death in Kerala; Kannur native dies in Kozhikode, authority not able to trace source of infection

KANNUR: One more person dies of COVID-19 in Kerala. Aasiya (61), a native of Dharmadam in Kannur, died after being under treatment for the viral disease at Kozhikode medical college hospital. With this death, the toll in Kerala is now six.

As per sources, she suffered a heart attack during the late hours on Monday and died. The authorities are still not able to trace the source of the deceased person's virus infection.

Aasiya had suffered a stroke a few years back. She also had neuro conditions. In the past two days, her health condition worsened. She was admitted to the Kozhikode medical college hospital on May 17.
