Uthra murder case: Crime branch and forensic team examining Sooraj’s house

KOLLAM: The investigating team is examining the house of Sooraj, first accused in Uthra murder case. The crime branch team investigating the case and Pathanamthitta special branch are jointly examining the house. A team of revenue officials have also reached the house along with the crime branch.

The police found that Sooraj had twice tried to kill his wife using a snake. However, there are no direct witnesses in the two incidents. So, the statement of Suresh who sold the snakes to Sooraj will be crucial. The investigating team is trying to ensure punishment for Sooraj with the support of scientific evidences.

The special branch reached his house to investigate the domestic violence case registered by her family. Meantime, snake catcher Suresh will be made approver in the case.
