THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan are competing to politicize COVID-19, said K Muraleedharan MP. The chief minister had asserted that he had not seen P K Sasi breaching lockdown. However, a case was registered against opposition leader for staging a strike on black sand mining. If the act of cancelling stops are not corrected, the opposition will block trains. He said the disease is spreading in the state because the test is ineffective.

Murali said worship places should be permitted to open in accordance with the health norms directed by the Centre. The chief minister’s finding is that you don’t contract the disease if stood in a queue in front of bars and that if gone to temples will contract it. Talking to the media, he said that after June 8, he will go to Guruvayur Temple.
