KASARGOD: RSS-CPM activists had a clash at Chettukund in Kasargode during women’s wall. RSS activists had set a fire on the grass near railway track in Chettukund. They also pelted stones at the women and they were not able to form the women’s wall. Many women and policemen were injured in the pelting. The attackers had also staged an attack on the journalists. They took the cameras and damaged media vehicles. DGP Loknath Behra has directed Lasargod police chief to take control of the situation immediately. It has been reported that more policemen will reach the spot immediately. However, they are not able to reach there due to heavy traffic. Stone pelting had occurred during the ‘Ayyappa Jyothi’ conducted by Sabarimala Karma Samithi. It has been deduced that the clash on Tuesday occurred as a revenge to this.
