One more COVID death in Kerala, victim native of Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One more COVID-19 death in Kerala. The dead has been identified as Thankappan (76), a native of Nettayam in Thiruvananthapuram. He died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment at the medical college hospital.


Thankappan arrived from Mumbai on Saturday. When he reached the state on June 27, he had some respiratory problems. He was a severe diabetic. He was soon admitted in the ICU of the medical college hospital. He died on the night of June 27 itself.

His swab samples were collected on that day itself. The results were obtained last night. With this, 24 have succumbed to the deadly disease.
