THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All allegations levelled by the opposition in the gold smuggling case has been accepted by the chief minister over the removal of M Sivasankar from the secretary post, said opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala. When allegations were levelled earlier, the chief minister took the stand of supporting him. Action has been taken against Sivasankar now following the fear that things would turn against him. The chief minister should reveal all things behind the gold smuggling case. If there is nothing to hide, is he ready to hand over the case to the CBI, Chennithala asked the chief minister. He said that he has sent a letter to the Prime Minister seeking a CBI probe in the gold smuggling case.

Chennithala had sought a CBI probe in the gold smuggling case yesterday also. How this woman facing a crime branch probe got into a main post under the IT Department. The role of the IT secretary on it should be clarified. The office of the chief minister has turned a centre for criminals, alleged Chennithala.
