Natives of Kollam and Kozhikode succumb to COVID-19

KOLLAM: Two in the state died of COVID-19. 73-year-old Asma Beevi, a native of Kottarakkara in Kollam and 77-year-old K T Aalikoya of Pallikkandi in Kozhikode are the two dead. With this, a total of 70 have died of the virus in the state.

The condition of Asma Beevi, who was under treatment in Kollam worsened and died when she was being shifted to Paripally Medical College. It is not clear whether she had any other ailments.

Four family members of Aalikoya were confirmed of the virus.
