THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala recorded 4125 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed. Among the new cases, 3463 persons developed the disease through contact including 412 cases without an identified source of infection. 33 persons returned from aborad while 122 persons returned from other states. 87 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
3007 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus in the past 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, 38,574 samples were sent for testing.
9 regions were identified as hotspots on Tuesday, while 7 regions were excluded from the list of hotspots. At present, there are 639 COVID hotspots.
