Fearing arrest Bhagyalakshmi and her gang go on hiding; Police says they went on cover anticipating police action

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Even after court denying anticipatory bail to Bhagyalakshmi, Diya Sana and Sreelekshmi Arackal over the case of manhandling rogue Youtuber Vijay P Nair, police have failed to arrest them. The additional sessions court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of the women’s gang, following this police has conducted a search operation at their homes to arrest them, but they had fled their homes even before the arrival of cops. Now the police say that they had gone undercover.

Sources in the police department say that they had fled their homes anticipating police action. As their anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the court, the police department has to go on with their arrest and subsequent remand proceedings. Thampanoor police have taken cases against the trio on charges of housebreaking and theft.

Court has severely criticized the three women on their action on the rogue Youtuber. “The accused cannot replace the law with their physical strength and they have done an uncultured act. Court has the responsibility to maintain law and order and it cannot withdraw from that responsibility,” the court said.
