THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday rubbished a report of a cold war between the state and central governments over the arrest of his former principal secretary M Sivasankar. Speaking about the report, the CM said that such allegations are completely baseless.

"Only a particular media came up with such a report. I haven't seen any other media reporting in such a 'bad' way. The government has been maintaining that all the culprits would be brought before the law through an independent and fair investigation," he said. The CM also reminded that he had written a letter to the Prime Minister seeking a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
