'Corruption in party, BJP leaders taking money to compromise protests': Sobha Surendran might leave party, supporters resign

PALAKKAD: Amid news of discontent of BJP leader Sobha Surendran with the party's reorganization, her supporters resigned from the party. Former district committee member and the vice president of BJP Alathur constituency L Prakashini, OBC Morcha constituency treasurer K Narayanan, and former main shikshak N Vishnu are the ones who resigned from the party.

They criticized that BJP leaders are indulged in corruption even at the local level and many democratic protests are being compromised by taking money from big guns. Prakashini said that no women inside the party will get the recognition that Sobha Surendran didn't get.

It is noted that the resignation of the leaders came after Sobha's remarks that leaders and workers are leaving the party. there are indications that more Sobha Surendran supporters will leave the party in the coming days.

Recently, news came out that Sobha Surendran is trying to create a group with his supporters or mulling to leave the party.
