Excise dept orders to freeze sale of Jawan rum

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Excise Department has ordered a freeze on the sales of Jawan rum in the state after a chemical test found that the liquor had high potency. As per the order, the sale of three batches of the liquor by July 20 has been frozen. The Excise Department took the action after finding the level of sediments in the chemical test of the liquor.
