THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The assessment of the UDF meeting is that there is a strong public sentiment in the state against the LDF government. The leaders told the press after the front meeting in Thiruvananthapuram that there would be no continuation of the current administration. It was also decided to hold a 'Kerala Yathra' under the leadership of Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala. The journey from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram will be from February 1 to 22. VD Satheesan will be the rally convener. Oommen Chandy and Mullappally Ramachandran will be present in the procession.
Meanwhile, the UDF meeting did not discuss PC George's entry into the front. PJ Joseph is against the move to take George to the front. The Joseph faction is of the opinion that George can run independently. Concerns of religious and community leaders will be addressed. Arrangements will be made for that. The agitation will be intensified. UDF coordinators will be appointed in the districts to strengthen the election campaign. The change will be included in the manifesto. The leaders said the seat-sharing talks would begin soon.
