THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Corruption Free Kerala project will come into effect on the 26th, giving an opportunity to those who want to give secret information about corruption. He was speaking while laying the foundation stone for the headquarters of the Crime Branch and the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau in Poonthura through video conference.
The CM said that the project has been conceived in such a way that the public can record their complaints before a notified authority. Complaints received by the authority will be investigated only after they are scrutinised by higher officials. He added that corruption in the government service and the public sector will be eliminated with the implementation of the project.
