THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: NCP leaders have told chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan that they would like to contest in all four seats. “Nobody has talked about compromise, therefore, we haven’t thought about it,” NCP state party chief T P Peethambaran said.

Meanwhile, the chief minister has not given any assurance to the party leaders on the Pala seat. He said that those issues will be discussed later. The CM also added that a wider consensus is required before initiating talks on Pala assembly seat. NCP has asked the chief minister to take an immediate decision on the Pala seat issue.

Party chief TP Peethambaran was summoned by the chief minister to Thiruvananthapuram following the failure of talks between Mani C Kappan and A K Saseendran. Peethambaran reached Thiruvananthapuram after cancelling the party’s meet at Idukki.
