THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Seemingly making a slight shift on his stand on Sabarimala women’s entry, justice Kemal Pasha has criticised people opposing Supreme Court order on Sabarimala.
“Now we have to go to Sabarimala thantri to implement the court order. That is the existing situation here. Some are trying to twist the apex court order in order to create religious polarisation. In the case of Sabarimala women’s entry, it is the high court and Supreme Court that has to take a decision. It is not ministers, thanthris or Islamic clergymen who decide on Sabarimala. Only courts take decisions in these matters,” he said.
Pasha added, “what was the point in telling that the court order won’t be obeyed after accepting it? Attempt to prevent the implementation of the order is mob scare.”
