Diplomatic ties strengthened with help of vaccine, welcomes other countries following India's example: V Muraleedharan

NEW DELHI: Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said India has been able to strengthen diplomatic ties with the help of vaccine. 56 lakh doses were provided to 17 countries. He said India would soon provide one crore more vaccines to various countries and had secured enough vaccines for distribution in India.

56 lakh doses of vaccine were given to countries including neighboring country. One crore more vaccines will be made available to people in various African countries. Muraleedharan opined that adequate provision has been made for the distribution of vaccines in India and welcomed other countries following India's example. Meantime, he said Pakistan had not asked for help. After India, China has also come forward with vaccine assistance.
