THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state chief K Surendran led the road show with Shobha Surendran, the NDA candidate of Kazhakoottam constituency. There is no division in Kazhakoottam and the party is united and Shobha Surendran is sure to win, he said. A lot of lotuses will bloom in the state and this time the contest is not to increase the percentage of votes but to increase the number of seats, he said.
Surendran attacked Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for his statement that the CPM will ensure that the BJP's account opened in Nemom in 2016 assembly polls will be closed this time. Surendran said that he wished to remind Pinarayi that they closed the accounts of the CPM in Bengal and Tripura and in Kerala it's only a matter of time to close the account. This time the NDA will decide who will rule Kerala. The chief minister is the beneficiary of corruption and fraud. Since Pinarayi is at the helm of affairs here, he will be doing the last rites of the party, added Surendran. He also attended the roadshows with the NDA candidates of Vattiyoorkavu, Nemom and Thiruvananthapuram.
