NEW DELHI: The body of Soumya Santhosh, who was killed in a Hamas rocket attack in Israel, will be flown home on Saturday. Steps to repatriate the body have been completed. The body will be flown to Delhi on a special flight from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv tomorrow night. Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan spoke to Indian Ambassador to Israel Sanjeev Kumar Sigla. Proceedings may be delayed if operations at the airport are disrupted as the conflict continues.
Soumya Santosh, a native of Keerithode in Idukki, was killed during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Soumya has been working as a caretaker in Israel for the past seven years.
