THRISSUR: The 'Vaccine Bell' website is ready to find out if the Covid vaccine is within reach. The website was developed by TR Vinod, a native of Pazhayannur, a senior software engineer at a multinational company in Thiruvananthapuram. You can register for free at https://vaccinebell.in. State, district and hospital (health center) are required to register.

Those who have booked the vaccine through the Cowin website or the Aarogya Setu app will also know if the vaccine is in stock. Information about vax's stock is not available on the Cowin website or the Aarogya Setu app. However, by registering with the mobile number or e-mail address on the Vaccine Bell, the message will be sent to phone when the vaccine arrives at the health centre.

If you want to know about the availability of vaccine in the health centres in two districts, you can register as such. The registered person will receive a message via WhatsApp or e-mail stating whether the vaccine is available for free and how many doses of vaccine are in stock. For example, if a person named Basti registers on the website, the response when vax becomes available will be as follows. Vaccine Available at Basti, District, Male, Hospital, BASTI, Fee: Free, Vaccine: COVISHIELD, Age: 45+, Availabilty: 28-05-2021 - 52 Dose.
