Petrol price crosses Rs 100 a litre, premium petrol has hit a century

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Petrol price on Monday crossed Rs 100 in the capital city. The price of premium petrol has crossed Rs 100 in many districts. In Thiruvananthapuram, the price is Rs 100.20 per litre, in Parasala Rs 101.14 and in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad it is Rs 100.24.

There was a hike of 28 paise for normal petrol and diesel. In Thiruvananthapuram, the price of petrol Rs 97.29 per litre and diesel Rs 92.63 per liter. In Kochi, petrol is priced at Rs 95.41 per litre and diesel Rs 90.86 per litre. This is the second day in a row that prices have risen.
