Netizens lash out at AA Rahim for supporting MC Josephine

People from various quarters have lashed out at DYFI state secretary AA Rahim for openly supporting MC Josephine. Rahim had stated that there was no need for MC Josephine to step down from the post of Kerala Women's Commission chairperson. He also wrote on his Facebook page that the controversy had come to an end with Josephine expressing regret for her remarks. Following this, several people, including CPM supporters, commented against this on his Facebook page. Some of them even pointed out that this was not the first time that Josephine had behaved in such a rude manner.

Josephine, who spoke rudely to a woman on Thursday, was asked to step down by the CPM leadership today morning. According to sources, the party leadership felt that Josephine continuing in the post will strain the party. There were widespread protests in the state seeking her resignation.
