ALAPPUZHA: CPM state acting secretary A Vijayaraghavan said strict action will be taken against those indulging in activities not acceptable to the party. The CPM will not encourage any wrong style of functioning, he said.

Vijayaraghavan said those making mistakes have been removed from the DYFI. His response came in the wake of the finding that CPM members were involved in the Ramanattukara gold smuggling quotation.

He told media that the accused are not affiliated with the CPM and had removed them soon after knowing their DYFI affiliation. Discipline for party workers also applies in cyberspace and that they have been given guidance on how to intervene in cyberspace, he added.
