Social media use and fake profiles that destroy family ties, Reshma case in Kollam to be made into a movie

kk

Kerala was shocked by the death of a newborn baby who was abandoned in a pile of dry leaves in Kollam and the subsequent arrest of its mother Reshma. Now a film is being made based on these events. The film tells the story of Reshma and her anonymous Facebook friend. The film will be directed by debutant Shanu Kakkoor and the script will be written by Santosh Kaimal. The film has been titled 'One Day Mirror'. It deals with the use of social media and fake profiles that destroy family ties.

Shooting will begin in the first week of October by adhering to Covid protocol. The crew members of the film are claiming that it will be a family suspense thriller. The film, which will be made in Malayalam and Tamil, will have prominent actors from both languages.
