KOCHI: Kochi Customs Commissioner Sumit Kumar has been transferred. He has been appointed as the new GST Commissioner in Bhiwandi. Rajendra Kumar is the new Kochi Customs Commissioner.

The gold smuggling through the diplomatic channel was investigated under the leadership of Sumit Kumar. Sumit Kumar's stance was crucial in overcoming the consulate's opposition and opening and inspecting diplomatic baggage.
