THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM has given a new post to former MP A Sampath. He has been appointed as the private secretary of Minister K Radhakrishnan. A decision was taken at the CPM state secretariat which convened here today. The appointment of Sampath, who lost the Attingal constituency in the last Lok Sabha elections, as the state government's special envoy to Delhi has courted a controversy.
