Bakrid: Restrictions to be eased for three days, shops will be opened

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has decided to ease the lockdown restrictions in the state for three days in view of the Bakrid celebrations. The restrictions will be eased on July 18, 19, and 20. However, the government made it clear that the restrictions will continue on Saturday.

Shops that come under A,B and C categories can open on July 18, 19 and 20. These shops are allowed to can operate from 7 am to 8 pm. However, shops in D category will not be allowed to open.

Earlier, the CM had assured the traders that the government will consider easing the relaxations in view of the Bakrid celebrations.
