Newly married woman found hanging at husband's house; police questioning husband

KOLLAM: A woman, who got married only two months ago, was found hanging at her husband's house. The deceased has been identified as Dhanya Das (21). It was her husband Rajesh who found her hanging inside the bedroom. Police have taken Rajesh into custody and are questioning him.

Dhanya and Rajesh got married after eight years of love. Dhanya was working as a sales representative in a jewelry shop. Rajesh is a tipper lorry driver. It is learnt that a quarrel took place between the two on Friday night. Dhanya's body has been shifted to the hospital. Dhanya's family has lodged a complaint with the Sasthamcotta police alleging that she committed suicide due to domestic violence.
