KOZHIKODE: Police said the things found on the railway track at Kallayi were not explosive materials. There was a marriage nearby and it was the crackers purchased for the celebrations. In an inspection, the remains of the crackers were found in a plot near the house. With this, the anxious moments witnessed were over. Police said a case will be taken against the owner of the house. The city police commissioner said there was no possibility of a coup.
The news of the explosive material found near an unused railway track which was three tracks away from the main track, broke out this morning. The railway employees who came to examine the track saw the materials. They later informed the railway police. The local police officials led by Kozhikode Commissioner A V George also arrived at the scene followed by the Dog Squad and also forensic experts.
