Kerala records 13,984 COVID-19 cases on Monday, TPR at 10.93; 118 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 13,984 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 13,221 persons developed the disease through contact, including 604 cases without an identified source of infection. 80 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 79 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

15,923 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,65,322 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 118 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 16,955.

Thrissur 2350, Malappuram 1925, Kozhikode 1772, Palakkad 1506, Ernakulam 1219, Kollam 949, Kannur 802, Kasargod 703, Kottayam 673, Thiruvananthapuram 666, Alappuzha 659, Pathanamthitta 301, Wayanad 263, Idukki 196.

1,27,903 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 10.93.
