Cyclone formed in Bay of Bengal likely to turn into low pressure, yellow alert declared in state

KOCHI: The meteorological department has warned that the cyclone that formed in the Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a low pressure tomorrow. It will be formed on the coasts of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Due to this there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Kerala. Yellow alert was declared in all the 14 districts today.

Orange alert has been issued in six districts tomorrow-Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur districts. Fishermen have been warned not to go to sea as there is a possibility of strong winds.
