More relaxations in the state, govt offices to function on Saturday; dine-ins likely to be allowed at restaurants, decision on Tuesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government offices in the state will function on Saturdays as well. All services will be available on Saturday. The punching system for recording attendance, which was stopped following Covid, will resume. The punching will be done using the card. Biometric punching will resume later.


Museums and parks will be open from Tuesday. Morning and evening walk at museums are also allowed. The colleges in the state are set to reopen partially on October 4. Shops, malls and supermarkets have started to operate. It is learnt that more lockdown restrictions will be announced during the Covid review meeting that will take place on Tuesday. The meeting is likely to take decisions such as allowing dine-ins at restaurants.
